Our Story Through the Years
Estelle Lodge No. 582 has a rich and storied history within the fraternity of Free and Accepted Masons in Texas. From its founding to the present day, the lodge has been a beacon of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth in the Fort Worth community.
Estelle Lodge No. 582 received its charter from the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Texas, A.F. & A.M., establishing a new Masonic home in the Fort Worth area. The founding members dedicated themselves to building a lodge rooted in the ancient traditions of the Craft.
The lodge was named for the community where it was located, Estelle, Texas.
The community was later annexed by Irving, Texas and subsequently became part of the Southwest portion of DFW Airport. At that time, the lodge property was taken under emmininet domain and the lodge relocated to Euless, Texas on Hwy 183.
In the 1960's, the Texas Highway Department decided to widen Hwy 183 and the lodge property was again taken. The lodge relocated to a new location in about 1966 at 401 N Ector Drive, Euless, Texas 76039 with 1.266 acres across from Euless City Hall and behind Trinity High School.
In October of 2024, the city of Euless ISD made a plan to expand and rebuild their shools and made a proposal for purchase the lodge building and location.
Since then, the lodge has been one of the many lodges that share a room at the Fort Worth Masonic Temple.
